Note to self: babyproof the house!

It is hard to believe our Luke will be 6 weeks old on Tuesday! The past 6 weeks have flown by, but at the same time, Jay and I can't remember a time when we didn't have Luke in our lives. It feels like he has been a part of our family forever. We have been learning a lot about each other and Jay and I can already tell Luke's hungry cry from just a plain old fussy cry, and I think we are very close to seeing a real smile soon! He has already grown out of some of his outfits, which is amazing to me.

Luke has really taken to his activity gym in the last week. Every morning I lay him there while I get breakfast and he plays for about 20 minutes or so. He is starting to make some more cooing sounds so it is fun to listen to him play! Here is a sneak peek at Luke hitting the gym:
