My Kind of Snow

Yesterday morning we woke up to this:



And then this (Yes, we will be dropping his crib today!):

Luckily, by 3pm or so the backyard looked like this:

Now that is my kind of snow! And hopefully the last we'll see of it this season. :)

Snow Day!

Jay and I woke up this morning to 3 inches of snow on the ground and it is still coming down out there even though it is now lunchtime. Good thing we don't need any groceries right now. The last thing I feel like doing this week is armwrestling the last gallon of milk from one of the snow crazies at the grocery store! Hopefully the roads will be okay after tomorrow. Since I am now unemployed I already had a touch of the cabin fever as it was.


It sure is pretty to look at but it's also really effing cold!
